 2012 Florida Gulf Coast, Tour De Cure, 21 April 2012
The Florida Gulf Coast Tour is one of the most scenic and breathtaking routes along Northwest Florida.  This stunning route will begin at the Gulf Breeze Andrews Institute and proceed to the Pensacola Bay Bridge, where it will then guide you into historic Pensacola.  You will then travel back over the bridge down Highway 98 through the National Seashore, then follow along the exquisite white beaches of Navarre and Pensacola returning to the Andrews Institute for a fun and fabulous time!  The Tour de Cure is a ride, not a race, and features routes of different lengths for riders of all skill levels.  Last year, more than 40,000 cyclists in over 80 tour events raised nearly $17million to support the mission of the American Diabetes Association: to prevent and cure diabetes and to improve the lives of all the people affected by diabetes.  This year the Tour de Cure is marking its 21st Anniversary, and as a member
  of the organizing committee, I'd like to aid in making an even bigger impact this coming year.  In the last twenty years, we've raised millions of dollars to fund research, provide services, and give voice to those denied their rights because of diabetes.  We will have three routes, 22, 42 and a 62 mile ride.
